I’ve always admired people who give great speeches and always wished to do the same. Since 2014 I’ve been speaking at WordCamps and WordUps in Poland and heard mostly good opinions about my presentations. However I also wanted to speak abroad in English and reach people from all over the world.
My first attempt was to speak at WordCamp Europe 2016 and as a first-timer I think I did good – I became a backup speaker. This gave me a chance to attend speakers’ dinner and earn a speaker badge which was a great honor for me. The deal was if a confirmed speaker wasn’t able to speak I would fill in. However everybody showed up (that’s good) and I didn’t get my chance.
When I came back from Vien I thought I wanted to speak even more. I started to search for other WordCamps across Europe and found a few. I applied for some of them and I’m excited to be a speaker at WordCamp Frankfurt.
For me this is huge and I can’t wait to be there. And speak there!
