A WP Desk we sell only virtual products – WooCommerce plugins. We use variable products to create 1, 5 or 25 license variations. But we want our customers to buy these licenses individually. There is no need to buy 2 individual licenses if you pay less for 5 🙂
That’s why we wanted to limit this to 1 item for all products – globally at once.
In order to do this we used a WooCommerce filter woocommerce_is_sold_individually that makes all products to be sold individually:
